Food as expression
Kitchens became the clearest way to create joy, comfort, and memory. From high-volume service to personal recipe work, food is where skill and feeling meet.
Food. Science. Story.
A Winnipeg-based biochemistry graduate and food creator building a life around curiosity, craft, and meaningful work.
Introduction
Kiran moved from Nepal to Canada as an international student, drawn by science, big questions, and the need to keep learning. Over time, that same curiosity expanded into kitchens, cameras, and a personal style of storytelling rooted in culture and care.
“Grow and learn” is the principle behind every next step: in the lab, in the kitchen, and in the stories still being built.
Core Threads
Kitchens became the clearest way to create joy, comfort, and memory. From high-volume service to personal recipe work, food is where skill and feeling meet.
Biochemistry built the discipline behind the creativity: method, precision, observation, and respect for process.
Content creation is the next chapter, using visuals and editing to turn personal ideas into something people can feel and remember.
Food Journey
Experience across Winnipeg kitchens helped shape Kiran’s pace, instincts, and confidence. Each role added technique, service discipline, and a better understanding of how food can connect people.

Direction
The long-term vision is to bring Nepali ingredients into a larger culinary conversation while continuing to grow through science and creative work. Timur, dalle kursani, and jimbu are not just ingredients here, but part of a deeper cultural voice.
